OMAC : The environment

Since my first an environment of the OMAC character, I got a feedback to look at how to improve a perspective and using photo refernces.
My first drawing of OMAC's environment.
Then, I continued to use some photo references and textures to improve my drawing.

The feedback I got is I use too much photos. It looks like a photo collage. The background figures and the wall need to be painted over to turn them into your drawing rather than being cut and paste. Therefore, I did more painting on it and this is my final piece.

Victorain doctor's bag : the final piece

I tried to put all my doctor'a bag items on the wooden table. And here are some feedback I got.

The field is not right for the sense that all these eqipment was in the historic Victorain period. I got a suggestion to change to indoor environment.

The table, for example, is just a photo. It needs to be turned into a style that looks like it has been painted. I need to make the shadows work – at the moment the objects seem to be hovering above the table. Some parts do look okay though. I just need to get the style to look consistent, disguise the photos and improve some of the detail – the texture inside the lid of the bag is rather crude for example.

Then I tried to complete or the mistakes and this is my final piece of this task

And I cropped out some part of the picture to let the audience focus only on the table.

Life drawing

This module gave me a chance to learn in life drawing session.

I never been in a life drawing class before. Therefore, it quite difficult for me to intreprete what I actually from a model to a drawing on paper since a very first of this term.
But gradually, I practiced this 2 hours in class per week. I got some understanding in human body's structure, how to plan your drawing as a apporpreiate ratio, how accurately from what you see and how to check it.

This session is very useful to me. It help me to improve myself when I draw human characters.

This following are my practicing in this semester by various of media such as pencil, chalk, charcoal, ink brush and crayon.

Some task I got a few minutes to draw the animatic posts like this.

Some task I got a chance to focus on cloth textures

Or, I drew with ink brush and experiment it by spraying water.

At last I grew color sheet on paper and drew on it. This is the experiment of let artists see how different feeling when they have some distraction from only white paper.
